U-Community Hotel

Stylish in a dated way with the stained glass and real wallpaper. An old hotel, but it's been well taken care of. Japanese style room with kotatsu was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was spacious with good hot water and pressure in the shower. AC couldn't be turned to cool mode during winter, but the front desk immediately provided a nice fan, and it was comfortable with the windows open. Nice view. Very comfortable futons on real tatami. Such a nice and convenient neighborhood that we for real looked at apartment rental prices in the area since we're moving soon. Microwave and washer/ dryer available on 2nd floor. Washers lock with a PIN so no one can mess with your clothes, so smart. Reasonable price and cleaned well, though dryer took some extra time. Front desk kindly took multiple deliveries, both sending and receiving. Highly recommend.

The facility is rather old, and the room’s air conditioning doesn’t allow temperature control—only the fan speed can be adjusted. Since it’s just ventilation, the room temperature exceeded 26°C, making it very hot while sleeping. Also, there was no power outlet near the head of the bed, which was very inconvenient. The ceiling above the bathtub was very low, and even with the fan on, ventilation didn’t work well. There were only three chairs in the lobby. Still, the staff were extremely kind, and I’m truly grateful for that!
